Previously at the Tyne Bar & The Ship Inn, the boys & girls from Newcastle's oldest & best electric blues jam have moved a few miles up the Ouseburn, joining us in our humble yet ambitious new venue.

Every first Tuesday of the month from 8pm sees a host of talent descending on the Brandling for blues, swing, R&B, real ale and chuckles.

Always a popular and entertaining night, HSC is open to anyone to join, and has witnessed sets from members of The Lounge Lizards, Off The Wall, Tommy & The Oddballs, Slowtrain, The Mojo Hand Band amongst others.

One of the very few open mic sets with a full backline PA, it is currently one of the busiest nights in the pub calendar and at times has to start early to accommodate the fifteen plus acts it can have on.
